    Hobbies:

    Reading (old books,fishing, crafts, backwoods,how to's,)

I enjoy photography ,even took a home study class. Although I did not complete this class I learned alot from it.

I enjoy music and learning how to play a varity of musical instruments. Most of the time I only learn just enough to get by with a song or two? I teach myself or play by ear. It's alot of fun for me. Guess this is my escape, we all need that you know?

Virtues: Whatever things are pure, whateverthings are true; I like to aim for these Virtues and do good towards others. Putting others first and helping them to achieve thier best is and has been a virtue of mine for a long time.
Heroes: Mom, for the times when just being able to talk to her , to listen to her and share.
Dad (who went home July 5th 1979)He gave to me the leadership of knowing The LORD JESUS CHRIST. His everyday example of listening to GOD early in the morning and then ALL day long. His willingness to share GOD'S love. My family: Margarita and Kristofer, yes even with the up's and the down's in the family relationship. I still would call them my heroes, because the many times in which they stand by me even when I'm down. My brothers and sister over the years of laughter and the food. Life has been great. Friends like Keith and Debbie Addis, although I don't get to see them that much any more ,they are an inspiration.

    Music is life!

Sunday, February 11, 2007, 08:28 PM [This is the life for me...]

Music for me is a colorful life!

What I do with it almost every day is Praise The Lord with it. Often I have said, "If the Lord wants me to sound good He better help me!"
Here I went again to Chatterbox.com and took one of their neat little test. This one was on music.

look here at the score I made on this test. These results are pure fun and games while at the same time good moral boosters.

What's Your Music Style? The following are my results for the test I took on Music!

Music is more than just an interest or hobby for you...It's a passion. You know your major from your minor and your riff from your rhythm. Mariah Carey is known for her five octave voice range, and she also makes use of "melisma" (single syllable words sung over several notes). Few people can hit those notes like Mariah, but no worries...you're into doing your own music thing. Speaking of your own thing, you might be too busy making your own music or plotting your appearance on a music reality show to bother thinking about what rock star you'd most like to trade places with.

While Live 8 was the historic series of concerts organized to bring worldwide attention to the crushing poverty of Africa, most of the venues were too big for the intimate setting that so many music aficionados love. As someone who enjoys music as the background for working, relaxing, and conversation, you might prefer something a little more casual and quiet, but just as exciting. Bands playing in the smaller venues often perform accoustically, which is a great way to listen to the softer tunes that you love.

Paraphrasing (with oodles of poetic license) Roxie Hart from the Broadway production "Chicago," your audience loves you (maybe)...you love your audience...and you both love music. You share your musical talents with anyone who'll listen. If you're a professional performer--this is a good thing. If you're not, maybe you should be. Word of advice - don't let the likes of Simon Cowell, the merciless American Idol judge known for advice such as "If you want to pursue a career in the music business, don't", keep you from pursuing your dream.

My comments, most of this holds true for me. It is a passion in that I strive to play music from my heart and for the Lord. Over the years growing up and now while living with my family. I have played a varity of instruments a chord organ as a kid. Piano and mandolin, along with different and unknown for the most part one called a Strum Stick. Nothing more than a glorified sound box of wood and three strings. Has the sound of a Banjo since it sports the strings of one? Played the flute and even some Harmonica.

Some times playing the church organ. Once while at summer camp with the church youth group. I had some time alone and headed to the reck hall where earlier in the week I spotted the organ. Little did I know that the preacher saw me playing. Since the camp did not have an organist guess who got the job? For the rest of the time there at camp I played for the group. Those songs were played by ear, too? This perhasp was the first time that I played for the public?

Now when it comes to music style "rock" is not it. More on the lines of soft music with a worshipful flair. Often on the Country or Southern Gosple style.

Alot of traditional hymns and Sunday school and campfire songs are my favorite. Singing with good friends during a Scout outing or in the church with those who you the Lord.

I think that playing the accustic guitar has brought me the most satistfaction. Mainly because I have learned to play it and to play it in my style. Having been self taught I have developed my own style of playing.

One of my biggest dreams, is to play music with my family and friends. To make a recording that maybe we could promote at a church function or even a country singing at a park. The Lord will be my guide and help.

Are You a People Person or a Wallflower?

Take this free PhD personality test go to Click here for Chatterbean.com!

Look at the score when I took this test?
    Quiz Score: 35

You are highly extroverted. You enjoy being around and interacting with people. However, you may want to guard against acting too spontaneously in certain settings in which your gregarious side might best be kept under control.

The site www.chatterbean.com has alot of other really interesting fun test that you can take.
